CLARINASE 24 Hour Relief relieves symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (Hay fever) such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose and burning or itchy eyes. CLARINASE 24 Hour Relief contains a combination of two medicines, loratadine (an antihistamine) and pseudoephedrine (a decongestant).

Antihistamines help reduce allergic symptoms by preventing the effects of a substance called histamine. Histamine is produced by the body in response to foreign substances, which the body is allergic to. Decongestants produce a narrowing of the blood vessels. This leads to clearing of the stuffy or blocked nose. Each packet of CLARINASE 24 Hour Relief contains 7 tablets.

Do NOT take CLARINASE 24 Hour Relief if you have an allergy to this drug or any of the ingredients listed within in it. Do NOT take CLARINASE 24 Hour Relief if you are taking or are within 14 days of discontinuing monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), medicine used to treat depression. Do NOT take CLARINASE 24 Hour Relief if you are pregnant or breast-feeding unless you have first taken medical advice. CLARINASE 24 Hour Relief is not suitable for children under the age of 12 years. Do NOT take CLARINASE 24 Hour Relief if you have or if you suffer from any of the following conditions:

• Glaucoma
  
• Difficulty passing urine
  
• Server high blood pressure
  
• Sever blood vessel disease
  
• An overactive thyroid gland

• Heart or blood pressure medicines
  
• Monoamine oxidase inhibitors
  
• Antacids
  
• Kaolin
