Polaramine Repetabs (6mg)
(Contains 40 tablets. Each tablet contains dexchlorpheniramine maleate 6mg)
 

Unfortunately Polaramine 6mg Repetabs have been discontinued

Polaramine 6mg Repetabs are now in a colour free formula. Polaramine Antihistamine Repetabs (repeat action tablets) contain an antihistamine (dexchlorpheniramine maleate) which will relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, watery/itchy eyes. Polaramine will also reduce the itching associated with most insect bites, allergic skin conditions and any irritation caused by hives. Polaramine is also available as a syrup which is specially formulated for children and as 2mg tablets for more information about these two variants please use the Antihistamines & allergies link on the left of this page.

Note that the sale of Polaramine 6mg is restricted to a total of two packets per customer per order. This represents three months worth of this Pharmacist Only medicine and no more than two packets of 40 repetabs each can be supplied to each customer within a three month period. Orders for more than this amount will be cancelled.

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age1 Repetab at bedtime, then 1 at 12 hourly intervals. Once symptoms have been relieved dosage can be reduced to 1 repetab as required
Children under 12 years of ageRepetabs should NOT be given to children under 12 years of age

Caution

Your pharmacist's advice is required for this product.

Do not chew repetabs they must be swallowed whole. Do not use if pregnant or breast feeding without medical direction. Do not drive or operate machinery if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. Avoid alcohol while using Polaramine.
