Lovir
(CONTAINS 2g, WHICH CONTAINS ACICLOVIR PH EUR 5% w/w. ALSO CONTAINS METHYL PARAHYDROXYBENZOATE 0.15% w/w AND PROPYL PARAHYDROXYBENZOATE 0.08% w/w AS PRESERVATIVES)
 

Lovir is no longer available

Lovir is an excellent treatment for cold sores. If it is applied at the first signs of a cold sore (a burning and itching sensation) Lovir can prevent the cold sore from developing. If the blister has already developed then Lovir can speed up the healing process.

Dosage

AdultsApply a thin layer of cream to the affected area five times daily for five days.

Caution

For external use only. Not to be taken orally. Do not use in eyes. If there is no improvement after 10 days please see your doctor. Wash hands before and after touching cold sores.
