Nurofen Plus
(CONTAINS IBUPROFEN 200MG AND CODEINE PHOSPHATE 12.8MG)
 

Nurofen Plus for powerful dual action pain relief. Nurofen plus is available in packets of 24 tablets with each tablet containing the active ingredients ibuprofen 200mg and codeine 12.8mg. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines referred to as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This group of medicines provides relief by altering the body’s response to pain, swelling and high temperature, while the codeine in nurofen plus serves as a powerful analgesic that reduces the body’s communication of pain messages. The combination of both ibuprofen and codeine allows nurofen plus to work on both the site of the pain as well as the body’s response to pain signals.

Nurofen plus can be used to treat and alleviate the symptoms of migraine or tension headaches, cramping period pain, back pain, dental pain, back pain, muscular pain, neuralgia, rheumatic pain and arthritic pain. Nurofen plus effective pain relief.

Dosage

Adults (all indications except migraine)Initial dose of 2 tablets and then, if necessary, 1 or 2 tablets every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets daily.
Children over 12 years of ageInitial dose of 2 tablets and then, if necessary, 1 or 2 tablets every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 6 tablets daily.
Children 7 to 12 years of ageNurofen Plus is not suitable for children 12 years and under

Caution

BEFORE TAKING NUROFEN PLUS If you are receiving medication from your doctor, suffer asthma, are pregnant or breast feeding, you should consult your doctor before taking NUROFEN PLUS. If you suffer from a stomach ulcer or any other stomach disorder, are allergic to any of the ingredients or aspirin you should not take NUROFEN PLUS. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days consult your doctor. NUROFEN PLUS may cause drowsiness, if affected do not drive or operate heavy machinery and avoid alcohol.
