Voltaren Rapid 25 is for those with acute painful and inflammatory conditions. Voltaren Rapid 25 is an antipyretic and contains the active ingredient diclofenac potassium that is particularly effective at lowering temperature in cases where there is an infection of the ear, nose or throat. As an antipyretic Voltaren Rapid 25 is effective at reducing temperatures or quelling fevers.

Each Voltaren Rapid 25 tablet contains 25mg of the active ingredient diclofenac potassium. Voltaren Rapid 25 can be used for such painful and inflammatory conditions as period pain, back pain or backache, migraine headaches, neck pain, tension headaches, ankle pain or sprains, muscle pain or strains, bruises, fever, shoulder pain, lower back pain, post operative pain following dental surgery or minor surgery.

Voltaren Rapid 25 is a fast acting pain relief medication and is effective usually within 15 to 30 minutes. Voltaren Rapid 25 is available in packs of 30 tablets. Voltaren Rapid 25 was previously also marketed as Cataflam.

Dosage

Adults	2 tablets initially followed by 1 or 2 tablets every 8 hours where necessary.
Adults with a Migraine	2 tablets initially followed by 1 or 2 tablets 2 hours later where necessary.
Children over the age of 14	1 tablet initially flowed by 1 tablet every 8 hours in necessary.
Children under the age of 14	Voltaren Rapid 25 is NOT suitable for children under 14.

Caution

Your pharmacist's advice is required for this product.

Do NOT exceed 6 Voltaren Rapid 25 tablets per day (24 hour period). Do not take Voltaren Rapid if you suffer from a stomach ulcer. Do not take Voltaren Rapid if you have ever had an allergic reaction or asthma attack after taking diclofenac or any other anti-inflammatory medication such as aspirin. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Voltaren Rapid if you suffer from asthma, have heart, kidney or liver disease, have high blood pressure, or have a bleeding disorder. Do not take Voltaren Rapid if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. You should not take Voltaren Rapid if you are pregnant or breast-feeding except under medical supervision. If you are currently taking other medications, or if you are unsure about any of the restrictions, then check with your doctor or pharmacist before you commence using Voltaren Rapid. Keep out of the reach of children. If symptoms persist, or you develop new symptoms, see your doctor. Carefully read packaging for any other possible restrictions.
