Apo-Diclo
Anti-inflammatory analgesic (each tablet contains diclofenac sodium 25mg)
 

Apo-Diclo is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory which relieves pain and reduces inflammation. Each Apo-Diclo tablet contains 25mg of diclofenac sodium. Apo-Diclo is used for the short term relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as arthritis, muscle strains or sprains and other injuries. Apo-Diclo is also effective for the alleviation of period pain, back pain, gout, migraine and pain following minor surgery.

Dosage

AdultAll indications except migraine: For moderate to severe pain, initially take 2 tablets, and then if necessary take 1 or 2 tablets every 8 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
AdultFor migraine: Initially take 2 tablets, then if necessary take a further 1 or 2 tablets after 2 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Child (over 14 years)Take 1 tablet, then if required take 1 tablet every 8 hours. Do not take more than 3 tablets in 24 hours.
ElderlyElderly people may be more sensitive to the effects of Apo-Diclo than other adults and should use the lowest effective dose for their condition (start by taking the child’s dose and increase to the adult dose if ineffective.)

Caution

If you suffer from a stomach ulcer, or if you have ever had an allergic reaction or asthma attack after taking diclofenac or any other anti-inflammatory medicine then do not take Apo-Diclo.

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Apo-Diclo if:

• You have any disease of the stomach or intestine or if you have experienced heartburn or stomach discomfort after taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines.
• You suffer from heart, liver or kidney disease.
• You have high blood preasure.
• You have a bleeding disorder, including hepatic porphyria.
• You are taking other medicines, as the effect of some medicines may be changed by Apo-Diclo.
• You are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
