Percutane
Extracts of Aloe barbadensis 2.5mg/g, Arnica Montana 5mg/g, Arctium Lappa 5mg/g, Capsaicin Annuum 12mg/g.

Unfortunately Percutane has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.

Percutane is a dual purpose strong, fast acting and natural anti-inflammatory for strains, sprains, aches and pains and pre-activity warm up. Percutane's clinically developed herbal formula with Aqualane marine extract also helps treat sports injuries, arthritic discomfort, muscular joint and tendon conditions. Percutane is greaseless, stainless, and leaves no lasting odour.

Percutane can be used as a pre-work or pre-activity massage creme for occupational overuse, stiff joints, tendons and tired muscles. Percutane's dual-purpose formula is especially effective for immobility and stiffness experienced at the start the day, or as part of a massage warm up before sport or as part of the recovery from overexertion.

Percutane's main active ingredients are Arnica, Burdock, Capsaicin and Hypericum. These ingredients have the following properties:

Arnica (Arnica Montana): Used externally, arnica promotes the healing of wounds contracted through blows, punctures, falls and cuts. It works as a liniment for joint inflammation, sprains and sore muscles to decrease swelling and bruising. Arnica is an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic, relieving pain from injuries and promoting tissue regeneration. For sprains and strains, arnica promotes healing and has an antibacterial action, which promotes the reabsorption of internal bleeding in bruises and sprains. Arnica also improves the circulation.

Burdock (Arctium lappa): Western herbalists have long used burdock externally for its demulcent, or soothing, properties. The Chinese found it valuable as a healer of hot conditions. Its diaphoretic and diuretic properties make it valuable for eliminating excess nervous energy, sweating out toxins, and cooling the heat of infections. Burdock has been known to reduce swelling and deposits within joints and knuckles of arthritis sufferers.

Capsaicin: Capsicum genus of the pepper family Capsaicin, found in the pepper, is used in topical cream products to treat painful joints. Capsaicin has been found to be of considerable benefit in relieving painful conditions. Capsaicin lowers body temperature by stimulating the cooling centre of the hypothalamus in the brain. Capsaicin may also be effective in relieving the pain of either osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.

Hypericum (Hypericum perforatum), also known as St John's Wort: Hypericum contains anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. When applied externally it can increase capillary integrity in problems with varicosities, such as haemorrhoids and varicose veins. It is useful as a wound healer, encouraging the formation of granulation tissue and promoting nerve repair. It can be used topically on wounds, sunburn, burns, and post-operative scars.
